Other than drums, the main instrument on most of this album is the VST I made, “Pretty Good Sampler”, plus some of the presets, and the one bell sound / cat dish I sampled while making this.
Album makes extensive use of the free VST “Pretty Good Sampler” and its default samples. Also there’s a lot of use of 3 other VSTs I made and give away: Microtone 5000, FreakBone 9000, and Simple Microtonal Sampler. I used an MPC to play most of it, but I used a MIDI keyboard on the jazz piano chords on 2 songs.

Pictures from 1983 of my hardcore band The Beef People, in Charlottesville Va. Pix by Barbara Vaughn. Some playing at a club, Trax, some playing at a party in Barbara’s living room.
I have dyed black hair in these pix, (did for less than one week in my life) but shaved it off on stage with electric clippers while singing, I was getting tiny shocks while doing it.
One pix has Dave Brockie from Gwar in the background, I raised the brightness on that to see him better. To her left is my girlfriend at the time, Donna Bible.
The pic of me with 4 people, the two in the middle are Charlie Kramer and John Beers from the Happy Flowers / The Landlords.
None of me playing guitar, which is what I mostly did in the Beef people, but there was one song where the bass player played guitar, the singer played bass, and I sang, that’s what you’d seeing in two of these.
